Do you miss counting migrating spring fish? Do not despair! Meghna Marjadi (a PhD student at UMass) is using an underwater camera to estimate river herring emigration rates at Great Herring Pond in Bourne, MA. The team has over 300 hours of video and 55 million images, so they need plenty of help counting all the fish. Help count passing juveniles by looking at the images on our Zooniverse site (https://www.zooniverse.org/projects/jllopiz/run-herring-run). It's also an easy task that you can try on your phone or computer. You can also log into the site and create an account to communicate with other volunteers and researchers. Thanks for your help!
